SBChallenge is a process focused on the selection and showcase of innovative sustainable building design concepts and techniques. Organized by iiSBE, it has been a significant part of the World Sustainable Building Conference series since its beginning, in 1998. This year’s process has collected 47 projects from 13 countries, presented in this website and in the national team booths.
What is iiSBE?
The International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment is a non-profit organization with over 500 members worldwide, working to actively facilitate and promote the adoption of policies, methods and tools to accelerate the movement towards a global sustainable built environment.
The 2011 edition of SBChallenge is part of SB11 Helsinki, the global Sustainable Building conference organized by RIL and VTT in cooperation with CIB, iiSBE and UNEP-SBCI, taking place on 18-21 October 2011.
